ISC 233 Industrial Org and Mgmt
This course covers advanced organization and management philosophies for organization improvement. Emphasis is placed on understanding comprehensive organization improvement concepts such as reengineering, MGQA, ISO 9000, and teams. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of organizations and assess their strengths and weaknesses. Also covered are modern manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma; Just in Time; Kanban; Mistake-Proofing; The Five S; Kaizen; Set up Reduction; Re-engineering; and Visual Factory Management.
