Calculating Grade Point Average
The grade point average (GPA) is the most important example of a student’s academic progress. The computation of a GPA is shown below as an example to simplify the average.
The GPA is determined by dividing the total number of grade points earned by the total number of semester hours attempted. The cumulative GPA is based on all eligible grades while a student is enrolled at the College.
