High School Equivalency (HSE)

The High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma program offers instruction to assist learners in preparing to successfully pass a designated high school equivalency assessment. The nationally recognized assessments used to obtain a state-issued High School Equivalency credential in North Carolina are GED^® and HiSET^®. HSE preparation classes are free of charge and are offered on-campus and online. All HSE students are required to attend an orientation session.
