High School Equivalency (HSE)

The High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma program offers instruction to assist learners in preparing to successfully pass a designated high school equivalency assessment. The three nationally-recognized assessments used to obtain a state-issued High School Equivalency credential in North Carolina are GED^®, HiSET^® and TASC. HSE preparation classes are free of charge and are offered on-campus and online. All HSE students are required to at-tend an orientation session.
