ISC 151 Plant Layout

This course provides a practical study of factory planning. Emphasis is placed on site selection and efficient arrangement of work areas to achieve lower manufacturing costs. Upon completion, students should be able to produce sample layouts of manufacturing operations. Students will complete a value stream map of a manufacturing plant.
