BAT 131 Fire Control System Automation

This course introduces design and specification of fire prevention, alarm and suppression control systems. Topics include selection, installation, commissioning of fire detection, alarm and control systems for commercial, industrial and residential campuses, integration with communication, lighting, HVAC, networking, and security systems. Upon completion, students will be able to integrate fire control systems with other electro-mechanical systems in the built environment.
