PSY 211 Psychology of Adjustment

This course introduces the study of the adjustment process focusing on contemporary challenges individuals must deal with in everyday life. Topics include theories of behavior, career choices, self-understanding, coping mechanisms, human relationships, intimacy, sociocultural factors influencing healthy personal adjustment, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an awareness of the processes of adjustment. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a Pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
