PSY 275 Health Psychology

This course covers the biopsychosocial dynamics of stress and the maintenance of good health. Topics include enhancing health and wellbeing, stress management, lifestyle choices and attitudes, the mind-body relationship, nutrition, exercise, and fitness. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the psychological factors related to health and well-being. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a Pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
