PSY 215 Positive Psychology

This course is an overview of the scientific study of human strengths. Topics include resilience, optimism, vital engagement (flow), positive relationships, creativity, wisdom, happiness, empathy, emotional intelligence, and other relevant topics. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the psychological factors relevant to enhancing well-being. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a Pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
